Almaviva Wine Dinner @The Wine Shop Signature

Bordeaux tradition entering its Andean era. 🍷🇨🇱 We are pouring Almaviva—literally the final boss of Chilean wine. This estate is an absolute powerhouse collab between Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Viña Concha y Toro. No cap, this lineup is insanely stacked.

We are kicking off the pairings with EPU 2023 (Almaviva’s high-key stellar second wine, serving major approachability and fresh fruit) paired with Duck Breast. Then we go full vertical. We are dropping Almaviva 2017 alongside Foie Gras Risotto—expect resolved tannins and deep, earthy tertiary notes. Next, the 2021 and 2022 vintages are bringing massive structure, flex-worthy concentration, and dark fruit energy to match the Braised Pork Cheek and A5 Wagyu Striploin.
