The 2023 Albert Bichot Bourgogne Aligoté is a fresh and lively white wine produced from 100% Aligoté grapes sourced from carefully selected terroirs across Burgundy, including the Côte Chalonnaise and the Hautes-Côtes. It presents a pale gold color and a fragrant bouquet dominated by white flowers, green apple, and citrus, often underscored by a distinct mineral edge and subtle hints of almond. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and nervous with a refreshing acidity and a crisp, persistent finish. Traditionally vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve its fruit-forward character, it is best served between 9 and 11°C as an aperitif, or paired with grilled fish, seafood platters, and light vegetarian dishes.
