Albert Bichot Macon-Villages 2021

The 2021 Albert Bichot Macon-Villages is a fresh and aromatic Chardonnay from the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy. The nose is fragrant with beautiful floral notes of acacia and honeysuckle set against a subtle mineral background, while the palate is lively and fruity with a refreshing finish and a pleasing roundness. Fermented and aged for 8 to 9 months in a combination of stainless steel vats (80%) and oak barrels (20%), this white wine typically reaches 13% ABV and is best enjoyed young. It pairs exceptionally well with simply prepared fish, shellfish, white meats in light sauces, and full-flavored cheeses.
