The 2020 Albert Bichot Pouilly-Fuisse is a classic white Burgundy Chardonnay featuring a pale yellow color with golden highlights. The nose is lively and aromatic, offering scents of white fruits, peach, and citrus fruit alongside spices and discrete notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, this bone-dry, medium-bodied wine demonstrates a silky texture and distinct minerality balanced by a fresh acidity and a long, pleasing finish. Produced from vines in the Mâconnais region and aged for approximately 8 months in a combination of stainless steel vats and oak barrels, it pairs exceptionally well with seafood, white meats in light sauces, and full-flavored cheeses.
