Arzuaga Pago Mota Chardonnay is an elegant, limited-production white wine crafted by Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro—a prestigious estate world-renowned for its Ribera del Duero reds, though this specific Chardonnay is actually sourced from their high-altitude vineyards in the Castilla-La Mancha region (under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla designation). Following a careful harvest, the wine is fermented and aged briefly on its lees in new French oak barrels, which lends it a beautifully creamy and rounded texture without overpowering the fruit. It pours a bright straw-gold and opens with highly expressive aromas of tropical fruits like pineapple and banana, beautifully interwoven with white flowers and subtle hints of toasted brioche and toffee from the oak.
