This cuvée 6666 is from the best parcels of Château de Mercuès planted on a gravely soil, at high-density with 6666 vines per hectare while the average in Cahors is 4500/ The grapes are hand sorted and this Cuvée is only produced on the best years. The bouquet is very expressive and seductive; the palate is concentrate and showing a lot of complexity with fine tannins. It's a unique wine, with a beautiful and long finish.
