The 2017 Chateau de Pommard Nuits-Saint-Georges is a full-bodied and balanced red wine made from 100 percent Pinot Noir. It features a medium-density ruby color and an aromatic profile of cherry, dark berries, vanilla, and leather. The palate offers a silky texture with soft tannins and fresh acidity, delivering flavors of red berries and subtle spice. Aged for 16 months in 30 percent new oak, this wine is approachable in its youth but possesses the structure to age for 10 to 15 years. It pairs exceptionally well with duck, game birds, lamb, or aged cheeses.
