Produced by the Famille Carabello-Baum in Burgundy, the 2018 Château de Pommard Nuits-Saint-Georges is a concentrated and well-balanced red wine crafted from 100 percent Pinot Noir grapes. This vintage displays a ruby color with purple reflections and offers a clean, intense aromatic profile featuring notes of morello cherries, blackberries, and blueberries alongside hints of sweet spices like cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is marked by supple, silky tannins and a long, fruity finish, with a medium-bodied structure that reflects its clay-rich terroir. It was aged for 18 months in 20 percent new French oak barrels and is suitable for drinking now or cellaring for up to 15 years. This wine pairs excellently with roasted poultry, game birds, or lightly spiced Mediterranean dishes.
