Medium to deep, dark ruby red. Quite closed aromas. The palate is supple red fruit at first then shows underlying fine, velvety to grainy tannins that are quite drying & leave the finish savoury. The alcohol & acid are balanced. There is some attractive vanilla & strawberry fruit on the long finish. This should develop beautifully
