Cuvelier Los Andes Grand Vin

Cuvelier Los Andes Grand Vin is a sophisticated and full bodied red blend from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, crafted by the Cuvelier family who also own the renowned Chateau Leoville Poyferre in Saint Julien. Primarily composed of Malbec alongside Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Merlot, the wine is produced using traditional French techniques including manual harvesting and aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels. It features an intense and complex aromatic profile characterized by ripe black fruits, sandalwood, tobacco, and floral notes of violet. On the palate, it is highly refined and well balanced with firm, fine grained tannins and a long, classy finish. Often described as a Bordeaux style wine from Mendoza, it possesses significant aging potential and pairs excellently with red meats, game, and spicy cheeses.
