Diageo Special Release 2024 Collection

The Diageo Special Releases 2024 Collection, titled "Spirited Xchange Second Edition," is an annual, highly anticipated lineup of eight limited-edition, cask-strength single malt Scotch whiskies that highlight experimental maturation techniques and rare distillery expressions. Curated by Master Blender Dr. Stuart Morrison, the 2024 collection pushes boundaries with unique cask finishes—such as Talisker 8 Year Old in "stone-spun" toasted casks, Mortlach "Midnight Dusk" in Ramandolo and Sangiovese wine casks, and a 14-year-old Singleton of Glen Ord finished with Pyrenean oak ends. The lineup also features an unpeated 11-year-old Caol Ila, a softer 12-year-old Lagavulin, a 10-year-old Oban finished in Oloroso-seasoned oak, a second-ever release from the innovative Roseisle distillery, and the oldest of the bunch: a lavish 21-year-old Benrinnes double-matured in wine and rejuvenated casks. Presented with vibrant, culturally inspired packaging, the collection offers both seasoned enthusiasts and curious drinkers a chance to explore familiar distilleries through an entirely new lens of flavor.
