The 2022 Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot 'La Ciaude' is a Minervois Cazelles AOC red blend comprising roughly equal parts old-vine Carignan, Syrah, and Grenache grown in the high-altitude, limestone-dominant Causse terroir. Matured 80% in oak barrels and 20% in stainless steel, the wine is medium-to-full-bodied with a core aromatic profile of dark cherries, plum, licorice, and pencil lead. The palate delivers robust, integrated tannins alongside a distinct mineral tension and acidity driven by the calcareous soils, concluding with a spiced, floral finish.
