The 2022 Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot "La Grenache 8" (classified as IGP Côtes du Brian) is a 100% Grenache cuvée grown in the Languedoc but vinified using traditional Burgundian techniques, including complete destemming. It pours a deep ruby color and delivers an aromatic profile led by wild strawberries, garrigue, and thyme, backed by subtle spice notes. Rather than aiming for heavy extraction, the palate is intentionally restrained, offering a medium-bodied structure with supple, fine-grained tannins that prioritize fresh, crunchy fruit over density.
