Donnafugata Anthilia Sicilia DOC 2022 is a fresh and versatile white wine blend predominantly featuring the native Lucido grape, also known as Catarratto, alongside other local and international varieties. Grown in the clay-rich soils of the Contessa Entellina estate in southwestern Sicily, this wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for two months in tanks followed by two months in the bottle. It presents a luminous straw-yellow color and an aromatic profile characterized by white-fleshed fruits like peach combined with delicate notes of wildflowers. On the palate, it offers a pleasant sapidity and a persistent finish, making it an ideal pairing for seafood, tomato bruschetta, or light vegetarian dishes. With an alcohol content of approximately 12.5 to 12.7 percent, it remains a globally appreciated classic that captures the ancient essence of its Sicilian territory.
