Donnafugata Vigna di Gabri Sicilia DOC 2019 is a fine and elegant white wine crafted primarily from Ansonica grapes blended with Catarratto, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Produced in the Contessa Entellina estate of southwestern Sicily, this wine features an intense and complex bouquet with notes of green apple, acacia flowers, and citrus, complemented by Mediterranean herbal nuances like sage and thyme. On the palate, it offers a structured and enveloping experience characterized by fresh acidity and a distinct savory minerality derived from the coastal influences of the region. The vinification process involves fermentation in steel and aging for six months in French oak barrels followed by nine months in the bottle, resulting in a persistent finish.
