As predicted, the 2022 vintage for Burgundy is proving to be excellent. The growing season began reasonably smooth until April brought terrible icy lows and producers had to be vigilant in protecting the young buds – some of which had arrived early – against the frost. Although there were some losses, they were relatively minimal and most of the new growth scraped through unscathed.
