Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest is a limited edition Highland single malt scotch whisky that marks the distillerys first expression crafted from barley kilned with woodland botanicals. Inspired by the natural wonders of the forest near Dr Bill Lumsdens home, this innovative release revives ancient techniques by infusing the barley with juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers during the drying process. Bottled at 46 percent ABV and aged primarily in second fill ex bourbon casks, the resulting spirit delivers a complex and herbaceous profile. It features aromatic notes of pine, juniper, and coriander coupled with a palate of peppermint, bitter orange, and vanilla, all underpinned by a gentle whisper of smoke and a warming oaky finish.
