After initially maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks to develop Glenmorangie's signature smooth, fruity base, the spirit is transferred into ruby port pipes from the Quintas of Portugal for an extended secondary maturation. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered for a richer, more viscous mouthfeel, it delivers an intensely aromatic profile bursting with notes of dark chocolate mint, Seville oranges, Turkish delight, and sandalwood. The port casks impart a beautiful rose-gold hue and a luscious, lingering finish of chocolate-enrobed walnuts and dark fruit, making it an exquisite, dessert-like dram that beautifully balances bright citrus with deep, decadent sweetness.
