Heinrich Naked White
MYR 184.00
The 2024 Heinrich Naked White is a complex, biodynamic natural wine from Burgenland, Austria, crafted by Gernot and Heike Heinrich from a blend predominantly featuring Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. Sourced from vineyards on both sides of Lake Neusiedl, the grapes undergo overnight skin maceration and spontaneous fermentation before aging for 14 months on fine lees in large used oak barrels. This unfiltered, low-sulfur "orange-style" white wine presents an intense, slightly hazy golden-yellow hue with aromas of ripe pear, mirabelle plum, apple compote, and delicate floral notes of rose petal and honey, accented by spicy hints of anise and white pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and vibrant, balancing a juicy fruit core with invigorating salinity, crisp acidity, and fine tannins, making it an excellent pairing for spicy vegetarian dishes like aubergine curry, Asian cuisine, or aged cheeses.
