Kaze No Mori ALPHA 5: The Quest for Warmed Sake is a premium Japanese sake from Nara Prefecture's Yucho Shuzo, specifically designed as the only installment in the experimental ALPHA series crafted to be enjoyed warm. Brewed using the ancient Bodaimoto method with local Akitsuho rice polished to 80%, this unique unpasteurized and undiluted sake substitutes a portion of its brewing water with 10-year aged sake. This intricate process yields a beautiful golden hue and a complex, profound flavor profile characterized by a warm aroma, smooth texture, rich umami, lactic acidity, and a lingering natural sweetness that expands beautifully when heated to 35–45°C.
