Named in honor of the late Peter Lehmann, the Masters Mentor Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium expression of Barossa Valley viticulture crafted from low-yielding old vines. This deep purple wine offers an opulent aromatic profile of ripe blackcurrants, violets, chocolate, and vanilla, often complemented by savory notes of cigar box and cedar. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated with a structural core of fine-grained tannins and dusty French oak, resulting in a persistent finish with hints of tobacco and spice. Matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads, it is a powerful yet poised red that pairs exceptionally well with richer dishes like duck, venison, or grilled sausages.
