Rolland & Galarreta Rioja

The Rolland & Galarreta Ribera del Duero is a collaborative Spanish red wine developed by French winemaker Michel Rolland and Spanish entrepreneur Javier Galarreta. Sourced from the Ribera del Duero region in Castilla y León, the wine is constructed from a blend of 85% old-vine Tempranillo and 15% Merlot, and undergoes 10 months of aging in French oak barrels. It exhibits a dark ruby color with primary aromas of black plum, black cherry, cinnamon, and lavender. The palate is dense, fleshy, and muscular, characterized by integrated, silky tannins, dark fruit flavors, and savory, ferrous undertones that lead to a structured, lingering finish.
