Named in honor of David Marschall, the Sons of Eden Marschall Barossa Valley Shiraz is a modern and vibrant expression of South Australian winemaking. Sourced from mature vineyards in the Tanunda and Ebenezer sub-regions, this full-bodied red wine is crafted by winemakers Corey Ryan and Simon Cowham using traditional techniques, including extended skin contact and 14 to 15 months of maturation in a mix of new and seasoned oak. It presents a deep garnet or purple color and offers a complex aromatic profile featuring blackberry, red licorice, spiced plum, and hints of dark chocolate or mocha. On the palate, the wine is rich and fleshy with supple tannins and a savory undertone, making it an excellent pairing for robust dishes like barbecued meats, lamb, or beef. With an alcohol content of approximately 14.5 percent, it is designed for immediate enjoyment but possesses the structure to mature gracefully over the medium term.
