Inspired by the Spanish Gran Reserva style, the Sons of Eden Selene is a premium Tempranillo sourced from the Light Pass vineyard in the Barossa Valley. This deep ruby red wine features an aromatic profile of dark cherry, smoked plum, and dried herbs, leading to a fleshy black fruit core on the palate supported by layered savoury tannins. The winemaking process involves extended skin contact and maturation for 30 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak puncheons, followed by two years of bottle aging before release. With a medium to full body and bright acidity, it offers a polished and powerful expression of the variety that balances complex notes of mocha and spice with a distinct European feel.
