Undurraga Altazor

Undurraga Altazor is a premium Chilean red blend from the Maipo Valley, primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions of Carignan and Carménère. Known as the flagship icon wine of Viña Undurraga, it is crafted from high-quality alluvial soils in Alto Maipo and aged for approximately 16 months in French oak barrels followed by significant bottle aging. The wine displays a deep ruby or purple color and offers a complex aromatic profile featuring red and black fruits, cassis, cedar, graphite, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured with firm, integrated tannins and a persistent, elegant finish, making it an ideal pairing for rich red meats or mature cheeses.
