The Undurraga T.H. Terroir Hunter Carignan is a highly acclaimed red wine from Chile's Maule Valley, crafted from old, dry-farmed vines that are roughly 64 to 75 years old. Part of an innovative project led by winemaker Rafael Urrejola, this wine focuses on site-specific purity and minimal intervention, resulting in a bold and structured profile with a vibrant 14.5% alcohol content. It features a deep ruby color and intense aromas of red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries, and raspberries, complemented by complex notes of spices, floral violets, earthiness, and subtle oak. On the palate, the wine is known for its high intensity, fresh acidity, and firm yet polished tannins, offering a long, juicy finish that pairs exceptionally well with grilled meats, lamb, and spiced Mediterranean dishes.
